The Colorado Plateau and the Glen Canyon area is rich in human history. From the Ancestrial Puebloans (Anasazi) to Modern Colorado River Runners, humans have been in this area for thousands of years. Their history is recorded in place names and petroglyphs, ruins and buildings, stories and memories.
